Anesthesiology

Indiana

A board certified anesthesiologist is needed to complete the staffing needs of the hospital’s anesthesia department. The candidate selected will be offered a three-year employment contract and will become part of the hospital-employed group of two anesthesiologists and up to 2.5 FTE CRNAs, also employed by the hospital.
The anesthesiologists and CRNAs will all participate in the call rotation creating a 1:4 schedule. When CRNAs are on call one of the physicians will provide back up call. The hospital’s surgery department operates Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours call is limited to OB cases and an average of less than one surgical case call per week. From 7 a.m. until 12 noon three operating rooms will be open and available. From 12 noon to 3 p.m. there will be two rooms maintained. After 3 p.m. a single anesthesia provider will be available and that provider will provide that evening’s call coverage. (IN203)
